Check your audio & video before your call
Before your helper call, take one minute to test your microphone and camera. The tool below is a free, trusted test page from Google. It will record a few seconds of audio and show your camera so you can confirm both work.

What to do
- Tap the green button above. A new tab will open with the test page.
- Allow your browser to use your microphone and camera when it asks. If you say no by accident, look for a small camera icon in the address bar and turn permission back on.
- Speak out loud and watch the audio bar move. If the bar moves, your mic works.
- Look at the video preview. If you can see yourself, your camera works.
When both are working, you're ready for your call. If something isn't working, just let your helper know when they call and we'll walk through it together.
